The core is open.
Build what you want.

Bike4Mind is the open hedge: own the layer, make the model a swappable commodity, and run open-weight on your own iron. The source is public, every release turns fully open on a two-year clock, and 9 products already run on the same core.

Everything but one thing.

Run it, fork it, sell what you build on it. The single exception lapses in two years.

Yes, you can

  • Self-host the whole thing in your own cloud

  • Fork it and build your own product on it

  • Sell that product and make real money

  • Use it in your consulting or client work

  • Modify it, rip it apart, contribute back

  • Run it air-gapped for full sovereignty

  • Say “built on Bike4Mind”: we would love the credit

The one no

Don’t offer our workbench to third parties as a rival hosted “Bike4Mind-as-a-service”, under our name or a new one. And build on us, but don’t pose as us.

In two years even that goes: the restriction is temporary, the openness permanent.

A plain-language summary: the LICENSE is the authoritative text. Source-available is not OSI open source, and we won’t pretend otherwise. Even our Usage Policy has an exit: self-host or fork, and its shared-service rules have nothing left to attach to (§0).

Built on the core.

Not vaporware ideology: the core already runs real products. Profitable and bootstrapped, with no outside capital.

Built by friends.

Products friends made with Bike4Mind. They are not ours: each one belongs to the people who built it.

Read it. Run it. Own it.

Read the code, run it in your own cloud, build your product on it. Every release turns fully open on a two-year clock.
